Did you know that around 15% of the world’s population suffer from migraine? In a study carried out in 2010, it was ranked as the third most common health condition in the world. In the UK, around one in five women and one in 15 men suffer from regular migraines. It can be a chronic, painful, life-changing condition.
This dynamic visual identity was created for the Make Migraine Matter campaign. Commissioned by the pharmaceutical company Allergan, it was designed to promote the company’s migraine medication to their internal sales team, and later on to the general public.
The expressive, discordant use of typography, brash colours and disturbing motion all play a key role in the campaign identity and capture the extremely disorientating, and crippling effects of a migraine attack.
“A true assault on your body, mind and self.”
